This sales tax was enacted in 1999 and has provided funding for 8 entities in Lincoln County ever since. The current tax will expire in December 2023 unless renewed

This one-cent sales tax is not only paid by residents of Lincoln County, but those who travel our hundreds of miles of interstates and highways and shop at our businesses. Every penny of this tax is spent on Lincoln County projects, lessening the burden on other funding sources.
